Formed in 2004, Rock My Soul has grown into a vibrant musical force in northern New England, known for its rousing, raise-the-rafters approach to gospel-inspired music. The group has built a loyal and ever-growing audience across New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts, regularly performing to packed houses where audiences often find themselves singing—and dancing—in the aisles. At its core, Rock My Soul bridges the traditional and the contemporary, honoring the roots of American gospel while bringing it vividly into the present day.

Rock My Soul is as tight and polished as a fine choral group, yet has the immediacy and soulfulness of the old-time, “golden age” American gospel sound it seeks to celebrate and preserve. While the performances are undeniably joyful and entertaining, the group also embraces a deeper purpose: sharing the stories behind the music. Concerts often include brief context about the history and meaning of specific songs, exploring the roots of this music and its powerful role in American culture, particularly during slavery and the Civil Rights era.
